MCP server for candidate sourcing

Short answer: RecruitMCP is a remote MCP server for candidate sourcing. Point Claude, Cursor or any Streamable HTTP MCP client at https://mcp.recruitmcp.com/mcp, send your API key, and your agent can search people by title, location, seniority and company, enrich profiles, save shortlists and find email and phone.

What your agent can do

  • resolve_location and list_filter_values turn "Ghent" or "Engineering" into filter ids (free).
  • search_people returns matching profiles; exclude_seen drops people you already reviewed.
  • enrich_profiles returns the full public professional profile.
  • save_to_list, set_candidate_status and check_candidates keep a shortlist and a seen register.
  • find_contact_details finds email and phone, with a confidence score. A miss is free.

Above the approval threshold, a call returns approval_required with an estimate and charges nothing until your agent sends the confirm token.

What is an MCP server for candidate sourcing?

A server that exposes candidate search and enrichment as tools an AI agent can call over the Model Context Protocol. RecruitMCP runs at https://mcp.recruitmcp.com/mcp.

Which clients work with RecruitMCP?

Any client that speaks Streamable HTTP MCP, including Claude Code, Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Cursor and Perplexity. Clients without MCP can use the REST API with the same key.

Does RecruitMCP send outreach?

Not yet. Outreach is coming soon. Today RecruitMCP covers search, enrich, lists and find email and phone.

Can I test without spending credits?

Yes. Add dry_run=true to a search to see the estimate. A dry run charges nothing, and an empty result is free.

Where do I keep the API key?

In a server-side environment variable such as RECRUITMCP_KEY or a secret store. Never put it in browser code or version control.
